Opportunity to become a Councillor on Bedale Town Council

Following the resignation of Councillor Annabel Wilkinson in August 2017 there is currently a vacancy for Councillor on Bedale Town Council.

The Council are therefore very keen to hear from anyone who lives in Bedale (or within 3 miles of the Town Parish boundary who is interested in representing the people of Bedale and becoming a Town Councillor.  The vacancy is to be filled by "Co-option" a process in which the Council considers applications it receives and then selects someone to fill the seat.

The Town Council would like to thank Annabel for all the work she has done for the town and wish her well in her new role as Member of North Yorkshire County Council.

If you are interested in becoming a Councillor, please write to the Town Council and include a few details about your background and explaining briefly why you would like to join the Council.
