Bedale is a wonderful town to visit. Located only a couple of minutes drive from the A1(M) and handily on route to the breathtaking scenery of Wensleydale and the North Yorkshire Dales it boasts a splendid Georgian Market Place, an ancient church, the grandeur of Bedale Hall, a heritage railway, a swimming pool and leisure centre, a weekly market, a thriving Saturday Car boot sale and a host of other attractions.
