Lockwood Brass will be performing at the Car Boot Sale on Saturday 1st June. This is the latest in our series of first Saturday concerts on the Bandstand in Bedale Park. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the entertainment whilst supporting our local organisations.

Friday 3rd May was a memorable day in Bedale's history, as the women's and men's Tour de Yorkshire races sprinted into town for dramatic stages finishes. The whole town was dressed up in blue-and-yellow finery, and thousands of people watched the race along the route and in the fanzone at Bedale Park. This year's car boot sales run every Saturday (weather permitting) from 16 March - 19 October. The draw for beneficiary organisation dates was held at January's Town Council meetings and details are on the Council's Facebook page and also in the Calendar section on this website. There will also be Saturday morning concerts on the bandstand on the first Saturday of the month from May - September!

On the 17th of April 2018, a delegation of 6 from Bedale Twinning Association went to Azay-sur-Cher, in the Loire region of France near to Tours. They were met with the utmost hospitality and friendship whilst being hosted by members of Azay-sur Cher Twinning Association.
