Vacancy for Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer

There is an opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to take on the post of Clerk to the Board and Responsible Financial Officer.

The post is part time minimum 8 hours per week. Working from home is required; the hours of work are flexible except for attendance at meetings.

The salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate must be IT literate, (computer equipment is supplied) be able to store equipment and files at home address and be available to attend quarterly meetings in the evening.

Duties will include:  acting as advisor to the board, minute taking, and compilation of correspondence, filing and accounts in addition to being the Responsible Financial Officer to the Board and management of a community cemetery; liaison with contractors, funeral directors and memorial masons as well as members of the public.
